Here is the information that you might need if you are tying to visit Korean Ski resorts from Overseas.
Flight Tickets and Visa
To book the tickets to Korea, you can use "Sky scanner" Application and check the price.
Since they are changing the price everyday. you might want to wait a little before you book the ticket if the flight ticket is too expensive on the exact day comapred to other days. the price might be lower after some days.
Now the toursits are pouring in and out of Korea so I think they raised the price now.
( it used to be cheaper before the below)
and it is always better to pay with local currency which is KOREAN WON, if you are buying or paying something with credit cards, For example. if you pay the hotel fee with your credit card and If you see US dollars or some other currency on your receipt. that means they will charge extra fee to exchange US dollars to Korean won.
Visa Requirement for Visiting Korea as Tourist.
To find out the Visa requirements for the expacts, or Foreginers who visiting Korea.
you can check on a K-ETA website. for example as Brazaillian, you can stay in Korea for 90 days.
you can change the language to English on the right top corner of the website.
And this is important that you need to apply for K-ETA and submit Q-code if you are visiting Korea
It is not that difficult but you need to finish at least 3 days before you visit.
(for K-ETA 3 days prior, Q-code -before you get on the airplane)

Appy for K-ETA
First you need to apply K-ETA (Korea Electronic Travel Authorization)
just visit the webiste and choose apply for K-ETA and follow the process.
they said it is simple but it is mandatory to apply for this, otherwise you won't be able to pass the immigration once you arrive Korea. 🙃 once you finish the process, they will approve it within hours or days.
Apply Q-CODE
and after you buy the ticket, you need to also file Q-CODE.
Click 'Go' button after change the language on the Q-CODE website.
this is for COVID information. and this is also what all Koreans do before we enter Korea.
you will need a flight ticket information. etc.
After finishing all the inputs, you can get the QR-code at the end. and you will need to show it at the airport, before you enter the immigration.
Korea Quarantine Requirements
they used to require covid test result to enter Korea, but they don't need it anymore
There is only PCR test recommendation for those who stays in Korea more than 90 days.
unless if you are coming from China, Hongkong, Macao.
If you are coming from China, Honkong, Macao. or transit through those countries to Korea.
You will need to follow below Procedures
Ski Reorts Information
If you go to Korea for skiing, you might want to be ready for being apart from Seoul city.
Because all these Ski resorts are located far from Seoul and and there are few Ski resorts In Gyeonggi-do(yellow are) which is close to Seoul but The snow will not be natural and will not be cold that much so they will be using artificial snow. and Most of the resorts are open for skiing until early March.
Most of the Ski resorts ARE using artificial snow, But I recommend Ski resorts in Kangwon-do(Pink area)
, Because it is colder in winter, so better for skiing.
The famous Ski Resorts in Kangwon-do are
Yongpyong Ski Resort(Alpensia ski resort), High1 Ski Resort, Vivaldi park(Sono hotels), Phoenix Ski Resort Park, Welli Hill Park resorts.
My wife used to go snowboard a lot before marriage, she said she doesn't recommend resorts below which is close to Seoul, because these resorts are quite old, and snow quality was not that good. Cause the Location of these resorts are far from Kangwon-do which is usually cold region.
It has been a while since she visit these places and It could be convenient from Seoul to visit these resorts. So If you are short of time, these resorts are the ones close to Seoul.
Ski Resorts which is close to Seoul :
Oak valley, Bears town, Elysian, Jisan Forest, Konjiam resort
I only checked the resorts in Kangwon-do.
1. Yongpyong Ski Resorts and Alpensia Ski Resort.
Yongpyong Ski Resorts and Alpensia Ski Resort, these 2 ski resorts are located right next to each other. but they are different Ski resorts running by each own companies.

They said they will be open for skiing until mid March and they have Condos and Hotels that you can choose.
Usually the Hotels are more expensive than the condos and you book the hotels or condo on their website.
and There is also shuttle bus company which runs from seoul to Resorts on their website. you can also book there.

Alpensia Ski Resort

This is the resort right next to Yongpyong Ski resort.
you can also book the hotels and transportation on their website.
2. Sono hotels and Resorts (Daemyeong Vivaldi Park Ski Resort)

Daemyung Vivaldi Park(Sonohotelsresorts) Ski Resort Website
This resorts are quite famous to Koreans because "Daemyeong" is like a big condominium company in Korea. and I have been there personally few times. they have many condos and resorts under the name of 'Daemyung' in Korea.
But they changed the name to Sono hotels and Resorts.
Unfortunately, they don't provide English website. you might have to use google translate on the webpage.
3. Welli Hilli Park

It used to be a SeongWoo Resort, and they changed the name to WelliHlli Park.
This is one of the closest Ski resorts from Seoul in Kangwon-Do
you can also check the webistes in English. they also provide transportation information and Hotel fees.
4. Phoenix Park

This Resort also has ski resort and golf clubs and etc.
But if you search under the name of Phoenix Park. sometimes Hanwha Resort shows up on the search results.
Because these two resorts' locations are quite close to each other. but Hanwha resort is quite old ones. so if you are looking for a fancy newer hotel. make sure you are booking under the phoenix resort website.
5. High 1 (one) resort
High one resort has Casinos.
Usually Koreans are not allowed for casinos in Korea.
but It is most likely the one and only place which is allowed for gambling for Koreans in Korea.
I heard that the hotels are quite fancy.
and All these resorts charges hotels and condos accommodation and Ski lift fee separately. and also the transportation by the transport companies. You can also book these ski resorts Hotels and condos at a website like Agoda, but i am not sure which one would be advantageous. But it is usually cheaper on their own websites.
and If you are travelling in Korea, you might want to carry USIM card which allows you to have access to internet on your mobile. it would be much more helpful and convenient while you are travelling.
